Research Results

The technology was validated over a 3-year period with a batch prototype plant. Research results have shown that the process consistently eliminated organic contaminants, and removed more than 95% of bio-available heavy metals.

Not all heavy metals in soils and sludges are available to be solubilized and extracted 100%.  Any metals that are unavailable to be solubilized have no adverse effect on crops and plants. The Heller process anticipates the most extreme condition that may occur in nature.
