Australian Organic Resources Pty Ltd (AOR) is a research and development company that has devised a process (now internationally patented) that decontaminates biosolids and other solid waste streams. It is an innovative solution for decontaminating solids, especially biosolids (Sewage Sludge).

The present disposal of contaminated biosolids to land fill is a strongly debated and contentious issue.

The AOR technology (Heller process) can recondition what is at present an unwanted contaminated waste stream into beneficial environmentally friendly fertilizer and soil products. The process eliminates the risks associated with contaminated biosolid disposal to land, retains carbon and avoids the necessity to adopt biosolid disposel procedures that generate Co2 emissions.  The process also provides carbon credit opportunities.
